David Pirkola, a comics retailer in Grand Rapids Michigan, is in stable but critical condition after being shot during a robbery in his store.

The wonderful folks at iFanboy have set up a fund to help David with his medical bills as he was uninsured. As a person who spends a fair amount of time behind the counter of a comic book store, this is a very important cause to me.
