Raised by an elderly couple in the remote city of Perth, Western Australia. Stephenny Godfrey moved to San Francisco to pursue
her love of storytelling, image making and big cities. After getting a job at the local newspaper “The Pacific Sun”, she ingratiated herself in the alternative press scene where she discovered a seething underground of other enthusiastic wordsmiths and visual poets. With a hybrid degree in Textiles and English, she believes that all tales deserve a good visual punch in the head and a patch of fabric somewhere on the knee … preferably with a big red S on it.
