Josh Richardson arrived in San Francisco on a hot August night in 2004. With little more than a PS2 and a couple of short boxes to his name, Josh began a quest for fortune and glory in the arts of comics and games.
Starting as a freelance color flatter making $1.87 an hour, Josh would eventually become the Creative Executive at publisher AiT/Planet Lar. Here he became somewhat known as the “Swiss Army Knife” of comics, performing such duties as lettering, book design, and coloring. For three years Josh also served proudly at Isotope Comics, serving up comics and cocktails every Sunday.
When Josh isn’t busy at his day job as a game tester, he spends his time alone working on getting his life together or chasing high scores in Geometry Wars 2. He has recently resurrected his long-abandoned first graphic novel script, Brawler, and begun work on an autobiographical mini-comic series entitled Fear and Loathing in the Mushroom Kingdom. Josh hopes to find some faith in himself and have his first mini-comic ready for APE 2009.
